Non-medical conveniences include cashless transactions and support for insurance reimbursement, as well as in-house kitchen and dining facilities for patient and family comfort. Adequate parking is also essential for ease of access.

Our assessment covers rigorous hygiene practices including engineering controls to prevent infections in operation theatres, such as laminar air flow, positive pressure, temperature and humidity monitoring, HEPA filters, and sensor-enabled OT doors.

We evaluate the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) for unidirectional flow zoning and separation of clean and dirty areas. Cleanliness is assessed in ward rooms, private rooms, lobbies, waiting areas, and OPDs. We also review the use of sterilization techniques like ETO sterilization and autoclaves, and ensure proper biomedical waste management with separate centers for segregation, collection, and disposal.
