Additionally, we check for emergency resuscitation equipment and medications in the emergency department, ICU, and OT, ensuring acute care of critical patients.

 

Hygiene Standards

Our audits ensure stringent hygiene protocols, including advanced engineering controls to prevent infections in Operation Theaters, comprehensive cleanliness assessments for wards, private rooms, lobbies, and waiting areas, and adherence to international sterlisation guidelines. We verify the presence of a well-structured Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) with unidirectional flow zoning, demarcated collection, cleaning, packing, sterilisation, and storage zones, and positive pressure in the sterilisation zone. We also ensure records of sterilised loads, chemical indicators for each load, monthly biological indicators, and the presence of CSSD technicians. Effective biomedical waste management for proper segregation and disposal is also confirmed.
